Ivan Gonzales

Ivan E. Gonzales is a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor with a strong background in biomedical health sciences and biochemistry. He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Health Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Ivan has extensive experience in both academic and professional settings, including roles as a research assistant in medicinal chemistry, COVID-19 contact tracer, and as a middle school instructor under AmeriCorps. His work in these areas has equipped him with a deep understanding of scientific principles and effective communication skills.

In addition to his academic expertise, Ivan has served as a fire officer/EMT, demonstrating his ability to perform under pressure and provide support in critical situations. He has also volunteered extensively in healthcare settings, showing his commitment to helping others and contributing to his community.

Ivan’s diverse experience and dedication to education make him an excellent tutor, capable of inspiring and guiding students in their academic pursuits. He is passionate about making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for learners.

Outside of his professional life, Ivan enjoys frisbee golf, rock climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. He resides with his girlfriend and their two beloved cats, a Sphynx and a Tabby.
