Jessica Black

I teach kindergarten at Riverside Elementary. I have my bachelor’s in early childhood education, am Reading and ESOL Endorsed as well as have experience with many different reading methods and approaches including Orton-Gillingham! I have been teaching for 9 years and absolutely love it. It is a true passion of mine. It is also my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I strongly believe in the power of multi-sensory learning and create my lessons and activities to be fun and engaging that is focused on my students needs and interests. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subjects so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
